Senior Backend Developer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and .NET
- Enhance and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
- Build and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests
- Develop and support frontend components using React
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET development
- Hands-on experience building APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of React and frontend development
- Proven experience working with microservices in production environments
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Knowledge of distributed caching technologies (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase)
- Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework / EF Core / NHibernate
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus)
- Experience working with high-traffic or distributed systems
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and modern engineering practices
