Software Engineer, Test
What you will do
Key accountabilities
Develops software to meet requirements (business and tech)
Tests own work using appropriate techniques e.g. unit testing, integration testing
Follows best practice guidelines provided and Tech process
Releases components to production and keeping them up to date with appropriate versioning
Responsible for their own learning
Skills, knowledge and experience:
Understands the architecture of the team's components, business area the team works in and a grasp of the non-functional requirements
Competent in the relevant programming languages
Good communication skills
Able to follow the agile process used by the team
Understand how to give and receive feedback
Experience of applying different test approaches
Experience working as Incident manager
Able to make a release of a component to production
Has an appreciation for need to do secure development and knowledge of OWASP
Able to troubleshoot in case of problems
