Senior DevOps Engineer
The role
We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building a fully automated platform by overseeing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools, implementing and managing automation, and enhancing our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings with the Player Account Management Platform.
Your focus will be on establishing our Golden Path: developing best practices, guidelines, and recommendations around architecture, tooling, testing, compliance, and observability. You'll also streamline development cycles and reduce time-to-market for customer-facing services through automation, all while adopting a zero-downtime approach to maintain the stability and reliability of our operations. You will also get the chance to design, build and operate agentic pipelines and LLM-driven workflows. Implementing orchestration, reliability, guardrails, observability and cost controls for production agent workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement Agentic workflows that chain prompts, RAG and external APIs to complete multi-step tasks
- Build and maintain integrations with LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic etc.)
- Define and support the creation of services and ensure the alignment among engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices seamlessly into the development lifecycle
- Enhance platform scalability, reliability, and security in on-premises and cloud environments
- Advocate for DevOps best practices, promoting a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ability to identify and analyze incidents, develop and implement solutions
- Stay up to date with emerging tools, trends, and technologies, and share knowledge within the team
- Have the patience and ability as a subject matter expert to communicate with a wide variety of stake holders
Core DevOps Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or Developer
- Experience in a coding language such as Python, TypeScript
- Experience of designing and building reusable CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD
- Experience with GitLab for repository management (experience with GitLab Runners is a plus)
- Experience with Kubernetes and working in dynamic containerized environments
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Automation experience with workflow tools such as n8n or UiPath
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster partnerships, mentor peers, and drive cross-functional alignment
Emerging AI Ops Skills (Desirable):
- Familiarity with LLM providers and prompt engineering
- Exposure to agentic workflow design and RAG systems
- Understanding of AI/ML Ops concepts and tooling
