The role
We are recruiting a Finance Business Partner Technology to strengthen IT cost oversight and financial performance of Technology within the Online Betting & Gaming (“OBG”) Business Unit (“BU”), one of the Group's most strategic and exposed perimeters. Based in Stockholm, you report directly to the Group Technology Performance Manager and work in close day-to-day collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner Technology (based in Paris), who provides regular on-site support.
The role provides end-to-end financial business partnering to OBG Technology team across a dynamic and international organisation in transformation. As the OBG Technology cost management framework continues to be structured and refined, the scope of this role is expected to evolve.
What you will do
Technology Performance and Financial Management
Contribute to the budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning cycles for OBG Technology costs, working closely with Technology leaders and Group Technology Performance teams.
Partner with FP&A to oversee the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, insightful variance analysis, and clear performance narratives for senior management.
Prepare the monthly OBG Technology Performance Committee, providing decision-focused insights.
Support ROI analysis, scenario modelling, and business case evaluations for major technology investments.
Transformation & continuous improvement
Contribute to the deployment of the Group Technology Performance Management framework across OBG and its future evolution
Maintain and evolve advanced financial models (covering resource and capacity planning, software/hardware cost and Capex) and support the adaptation of cost management practices to strengthen IT cost oversight within the OBG BU (including project delivery tracking, headcount planning and management).
Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and planning capabilities.
Contribute to the OBG Carbon IT roadmap, in line with Group sustainability and ESG targets.
Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management
Act as a reliable and proactive finance partner to OBG Technology leadership.
Constructively challenge assumptions, drive accountability, and support value-based decision making.
Present performance updates, risks, and opportunities clearly.
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Reporting directly to the Group Technology Performance Manager, with day-to-day functional collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner Technology (Paris), ensuring proactive communication and effective alignment.
Collaborate with other Finance Business Partners and Business teams to support Group cost discipline and strategic priorities.
Work cross-functionally with all stakeholders to ensure the quality of data consolidated for budget & closing cycles
- Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
- Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
- Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
- Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear
Skills and Behaviours:
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a broader team.
Good stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage with both operational and senior stakeholders.
Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills in English, able to translate financial complexity into business focused insights.
Advanced capability in Excel and PowerPoint and working knowledge of financial and analytical tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Adaptive, Qlik Sense, or Power BI.
Good understanding of technology organisations, operating models, and cost drivers;
French language skills and prior exposure to IT, digital, or platform environments are strong advantages
Background & experience:
5 to 7 years' experience in financial management, FP&A, or performance controlling, including P&L ownership, Capex, and economic modelling.
Master's degree from a leading business or engineering school or a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
Proven track record of owning full planning cycles end to end and presenting to executive-level stakeholders..
